See you at the 100th Reunion

Well, I've retired from that unitarian group known as TEC and UNM Valencia as well.

Since Roger & Gail Nunn are going to be on a Baltic cruise, I spent three wonderful days with then in Denton TX, last month.

I'm driving to Wilmore and then Erwin TN and hope to see you Mariners and others there!

but. . . I'm still ridin' for the brand!

Ain't gett'en no younger!

"Where have all the flowers gone?" There is a stranger in my mirror and I think it must be my grandma. It surely can't be me! And those babies in the stroler; where can they be? There are 3 women who visit and call me Mom, but, where did the babies go?
God says," life is but a vapor". He sure is right ,as always. It's a good thing to have our memories. Life moves on at a lightening pace now and I like a turtle. If you're feeling the same. you are not alone.
GOd is good and we will run the race until he calls come. GLory, Glory, what a day thet will be.

Still ridin' for the brand. . .

This begins the ballad of a preacher of the Good News about Jesus, one of Wesley's inspired men that refuses to stop believing, preaching and seeing God transform human lives...

I've been in the southwest most of the time since '74 and almost always serving under a ramrod, most call 'em bishops, that believes the bible, the creeds and the traditional history of the Church.

The one exception was a ramrod over in the TX panhandle that was rather confused. Maybe prep school in the east, an ivy league undergraduate education and a divinity degree in a famous VA liberal Episcopal seminary is why that son of Fort Worth arrived back in TX wearing tasseled loafers, a blue blazer and dockers and never seemed to have anything else to wear. Why, when Men's glee Club tour was over, we got those blazers clean and hung 'em up till prof to us to get ready, we had a concert!
